How can i log user access in usg40
Hi,
i've the necessity to log when user from vpn login and logout and save the report, it's possible?
In a small company, around 15 users are using smart working and accessing their PCs via VPN. The boss asked me to know when each individual user logs in and how long he works. Is it possible to have this kind of report from the usg40?
Thanks in advance

You could setup the Email logs to log the following

But the USG logscreen has only limited space and after a few hours or days the login information are getting lost.
Don't know whether an USG40 is able to, but we are saving different logs on our USG110, including our SSL VPN user logins on an USG attached USB stick, where new log files will be created for each single day. Of course there will be saved a lot of other stuff into these log files, but we are able to search for VPN logins, if needed. It's a workaround for us.

Hi @carteo
Yes, the log can be displayed on USG40
Go to Monitor > Log > View Log and select category “User” or “ L2TP Over IPSec”
