    Hello phzyxel,
    Add below rule on the Domain zone forwarder and try again.
    Set the * on the Domain Zone, 4.2.2.2 on the DNS server.
    Please check the picture.

    Hello phzyxel,
    You should add the domain name and DNS server to be 4.2.2.2 on the Domain Zone Forwarder.
    Here is an example:

     Also, according to your latest update, it appears 500 Internal server error. it means something has gone wrong with the website or it’s a problem with the site you’re trying to visit. Please check the configuration on Server side and the configuration of  web browser.

    HTTP 500 error....? 
    I don't think the reason is coming from DNS issue.
    Does server is working fine if client accessing to server by LAN IP?
