May I know did you try hardware reset button? It is the same WPS button, then you can press it and hold the button, after 10 seconds, the power LED will begin flashing, then you can release the button.
Moreover, please follow the steps to configure it.
- Reset the WRE2205 via pressing WPS button. Here is the link from Youtube to show you how to reset the device by other user: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTShS-2eGCI
- After reset done, connect your PC/NB to WRE2205’s Ethernet port via wired.
- Check your network interface card receive the IP address, please refer the attachment: Network Interface card.png.
- Then you can use IP 192.168.1.2 to access WRE2205 web management page, here is the record for you: https://youtu.be/t3L9yZu9KxE

Hi,
what is your wireless IP address and Ethernet IP address?
After reset, the IP address should be reserved from WRE2205 v2 as 192.168.1.X, then you can be able to login via 192.168.1.2.
What is your LED status?
Make sure you have reset the device successfully, press key(WPS) button 10 seconds, then power LED off and on, then replease the button to reset and reboot.
