What does AP client policy when select as whitelisted do?

The whitelisted policy when applied to a client, will only allow the client to bypass the authentication through captive portal login methods.

If the SSID is configured with layer 2 security via WPA2-PSK and Captive protal for authentication, it will still be required for the whitelisted clients to enter the preshared key password, then direct internet access without captive portal authentication.

Where to configure:

1. Go to Client page under AP tab. Select or add the clients you wish to apply the policy.

2. Click on Policy button and select Whitelisted to apply the policy.

3. You can check the policy of your clients by selecting the filter showing the attributes of policy.
