GS1900-8HP how to set system time
Hi,
every 6 months, I have to log onto my GS 1900-8HP and change the time settings manually.
Is there a manual, describing in detail, how to configure the time settings, e.g. for Switzerland?
...
[EDIT]
I guess, I just got finally right:
Enable SNTP: Enable
Time Zone: UTC+01:00
Daylight Saving Time: Enable
Daylight Saving Time Offset: 60min
Start Date: Last | Sun | Mar | 2:00
End Date: Last | Sun | Oct | 3:00
can anybody confirm those settings?

Hi @schnech1
The configuration seems no problem.
Since you have enabled the SNTP, you have to configure the NTP server to sync the time with it.
Please go to Configuration > System > Time > SNTP Server to configure the server's IP
For further information, you can refer to user's guide chapter 18.3 Time or page 104.
You can download it in the link below

Thanks

had the switch for a while without actually logging in, let alone using the controls ,
for me ( why i came across this post ),
go through the wizard citing the IP given ,
if like me you've thrown it in as a dumb switch ,then let it configure the time ,
tried manually didn't work0
