Zyxel VMG3625-T20A modem issues

Zyxel VMG3625-T20A modem does not connect to internet for a couple of hours after modem's re-boot. The internet light is green though. After some hours, suddenly the internet starts working without problems. I switched off automatic searching for firmware updates after booting, but this did not help.

Have you checked the connection problem with your ISP?

Are you using PPPoE to connect to the Internet?

The ISP is of the opinion that the connection should work without problems and suggests that their might be a problem with the modem/router.

Currently, the broadband encapsulations are set to IPoE. The internet is coming in via a phone line.

Do you see any error message in the log page when the issue happens?

After the modem has been off for a week or so, the "delay of internet" hasn't returned. So I haven't been able to test, if there is an error message from the log page... Thanks so far! I'll let you know if the problem returns.
