Zyxel PLA5456 powerline ethernet kit question

I just got this powerline ethernet kit used from a friend. I'm wondering if there are any firmware updates available for it that I need to download?

It's not available for PLA5456 to do firmware upgrade, so you can use it directly.
May I know if there's any problem for using the PLA5456?

You may check chapter 2 for how to pair the PLA 5456 and detail LED status information.
If you can't set up successfully, please share us the detail  issue symptom and topology, and then we'll help to check.
