USG110 - Licence Bundle Questions and Zyxel Prices

We have to renew our licence within the next time. In the last years we purchased the following licence bundle LIC-BUN-ZZ0024F, which contains all 4-in-1 single licences. But searching a german dealer with good prices was a big deal every year. That's why we were happy when we heard that Zyxel maintains an own licence shop (Zyxel Marketplace). But the price for a licence bundle update is really high: 619.89 €. We see, this licence contains now the SecuReporter Premium, but which we are not interested in. Normally the price of LIC-BUN-ZZ0024F is about 400 € (450 € with tax).

Further I'm a little bit confused about the Zyxel Marketplace statement: "For the 5-in-1 Security Pack (1 Year) for ZyWALL 110 & USG110 (#S142L08520791) the minimum FW version 4.60 is required."

Is the well known lic bundle "LIC-BUN-ZZ0024F" not longer working under FW 4.62(AAPH.0) when we would try to update it?

the License LIC-BUN-ZZ0024F is Phase out, due to engine changes. This also explain the "4.60" required, due to we changed some vendor for Content Filter and Anti-Virus, which need new license to work.

The license you need is LIC-BUN-ZZ0067F and it includes SecuReporter. Even if you buy all license seperate (without SecuReporter) the bundle will be still cheaper.

BTW, we own another USG110 as "cold redundancy" where we are able to imediately replace our production USG110 in case of main failure. This second USG has presently valid licences for more than 300 days (already activated shortly). I take for granted that these connected licences remain valid until its expiry dates. Or is there a deadline in place until all "old" licence types (LIC-BUN-ZZ0024F )have to be used and exhausted?

for sure it keep valid, it just can be that you or our Support need to help to convert it and / or it will auto convert with firmware upgrade into new engine and continue to be valid.
