Can a VPN user (L2TP) be assigned a static IP address?
Hi, I hope the subject line explains the question, but to add a bit more detail...I have a USG310 configured for incoming VPN connections via L2TP with IPSec. When a VPN connection is made the client computer gets a 192.168.250.x IP address as opposed to an IP address in the range of LAN1. Can specific VPN clients (users) be assigned a fixed 192.168.250.x IP address, so they get assigned the same IP address each time they connect? If so, how can this be done? Thanks in advance.

Hi @elkrust,
The L2TP client cannot be assigned as static IP. This can be achieved by using ZyWALL IPSec VPN client.
