What is periodically-collect-data and why does it default to yes? USG60W and USG40W

I have reviewed both versions 10 and 11 of the CLI Reference Guide for ZyWALL USG/ATP series and neither one of them documents this command : periodically-collect-data

To reproduce, ssh into either a USG40 or a 60 series (I haven't tried it on any other devices, yet) and run the following :
show periodically-collect-data status
The result is :

Periodically collect data: yes

So, what is this command? What data is it collecting? Is this a log file that is stored locally? Is it something that is being sent somewhere?

Privacy and security speculations are going wild.

The status of periodically-collect-data is that device collect statistic of CPU, Memory ..etc. The data will be collected and shows on the dashboard.
Therefore, when status shows yes, which means the process of collecting data is working normally.

That's helpful. Thank you. Can we get this added to the CLI Reference Guide, too, please? :)
