GS1900-8 Login Issue

Hi,

it looks that the login button of my GS1900-8 switch does not work. I put down credentails, click Login, but it is like there was a GUI issue. It's like nothing happens. I can click the button many times, or from different browsers, but nothing happens, no response at all from the graphical interface. Would anyone be facing or have faced the same issue? I can't login to say which firmware version I am running on, but it is the latest one.

    Based on your description, please make sure that the GS1900-8 still reachable by using the command prompt to PING the IP of the switch. Then try every following step below then re-login:

    1. Clean the cache of the browser.
    2. Use "Private browsing mode".
    3. Reboot the switch.
    4. Reset the switch.

    Actually i had this problem in combination with a local Bit Defender-Installation. It seems that BitDefender is actively blocking login attempts, when they're accessed over Plain-HTTP-Connections to secure your login credentials getting transmitted in PlainText. You can whitelist those http-sites directly from the log-entry in BitDefender. As my GS1900-models currently got problems with their https-Connection i've encountered these problems today, when i used http-connections.
