Hi,
I have two routers on my lan. So two 192.168 networks.
The first Router is my ADSL Box (Freebox V6).
The Second Router is the LTE4506.
I have also a Synology NAS with 2 ethernet interfaces.
Each of them is connected on a Router.
There, i want to indicate to LTE4505 that to join the other network, it must use the adress on the NAS as gateway.
So i connect to the LTE4506 by telnet and try the route add command, but after a restart, the new route disapear.
How can i permanently add this route ?
Maybe by editing a configuration file but wich one ?

Thanks for Help

    Hi Kh3v,

“There, i want to indicate to LTE4505 that to join the other network, it must use the adress on the NAS as gateway”

LTE 4506 has its own network environment when 4G connection is up so I don’t understand the mean. Can you please draw the application/scenario you want to do?

Hi, and first thanks for help.
    I have 2 routers / networks.
One Managed by the LTE4506 in 192.168.1.xx
One Managed by my ISP Box (Freebox V6) in 192.168.2.xx
    And i got a NAS with 2 eth connectors. Each connector on a network 192.168.1.99 & 192.168.2.99
I intend to use the NAS as a Gateway between the two networks.
But for That, i need to add a route in the LTE to indicate the Gateway for the 192.168.2.0 network.
Thats really more simple than adding this route on every machines of this network.
And after all, this is a router job.

I tried to add the route manually (putty / admin), but after reboot it vanish ...
I tried to edit the "interfaces" file to add the add route but the modification vanish again ...
I tried to add a file in the ifupxxx folder witch did the add route, but always the same, the new file vanish.

Just like on each reboot, the LTE restore the entire system before starting.

So, i am just trying to know where i can add this route, so it will be static and always on, even after reboot.

(PS : sorry my english must be rusty ...)

    Hi Pat,

    1.      Before you reboot device, does it work well?

    2.      You mentioned you add the route manually (putty / admin), can you please share CLI that you type?

    Hi and thanks again.

This is a copy of the putty screen just after the "shutdown -r now"

And this is the Add route and the traceroute after :

Each time i reboot the LTE4506, i restart on the first screen.

As i said, i have try to Edit the "/etc/network/interfaces" file, but after reboot the modification vanish.
I have tried to add a file in the "/etc/network/if_up.d" making it executable, but after reboot it vanish also.

Thanks for help in a durable solution.

    Hi Pat,

Sorry to inform you, we don’t support add/modify configuration via CLI. So your request is impossible in current fw. May I know how many LTE4506 you have? And all of them are used with same scenario?

Wel, i suppose the master word there should be ... keep calm.

Answer :I have only one LTE4506.

Now, you say that's impossible to modify the configuration via CLI.
SO, how should i do via the WEB Interface ?

    Patrice.

    Hi Patrice,

Unfortunately, we don’t support “add a permanent static route manually” for LTE4506. I can deliver your request to our team and wait PM to evaluate if it’s doable. Please let me know if you have other question for this.
