Hi all.
My connection diagram:
router WAN1 -> modem1 LAN1 (ISP VDSL2 modem);
router WAN2 -> modem2 LAN1 (ISP VDSL2 modem).
I must to connect the router to the internet through the two modems with 2 separate PPPoE sessions (no balancing, no failover).
The providers require a PPPoE session with VLAN tag for Internet access:
WAN1_PPPoE (VLAN835);
WAN2_PPPoE (VLAN835).
From the web configuration GUI and the CLI reference I did not find informations on how to set up a VLAN on WAN PPPoE interfaces, how can I do?
I need the procedure for:
Zyxel USG110 and Zyxel USG310.
Thanks and regards,
Berto.

Hello Berto,
Here is an example as your reference.
Create the Vlan interface and then go to Network>Interface>PPP, generate PPP connection for vlan.
Fill the ISP details for Wan1_PPPoE account for PPP connection.
(Note:One Vlan ID only can be configured once at the same time)

I have a serious problem with this configuration!
For both modems I have to set vlan835, but web configurator does not allow me to do it.
How can I resolve the issue?!
I attach 2 images of the configuration with the error:

Hello Berto,
The message display the "vlan ID 835 is duplicate" which means the vlan ID 835 already be used in your configuration. (One Vlan ID only can be configured once at the same time). Since the same vlan ID configure on wan1 and wan2, this may cause traffic loop. As your scenario, you should add the switch with vlan tagging between modem and USG.

Each modem wants a connection via PPPoE session with VLAN ID 835 in router WAN port, not being able to set VLAN 835 for WAN1 and WAN2 how can I connect through the two modems?
Thanks,
Berto.

The VLAN ID 835 should not be configured in the ethernet frame (local connection: router WAN -> modem LAN) but in the PPPoE frame towards the ISP network, I think that the configuration of that VLAN is only at the ethernet level.
I need to configure the VLAN (802.1q) in the PPPoE protocol.
I attach a screenshot of a soho asus router configuration that permits the configuration:

Hello dimensione_far,
Since the USG can not be configured the same Vlan ID,you should place the Switch which connect wan2 to fulfill your requirement. (Please check the topology as below)
Just configure the Wan1_pppoe with Vlan tag.
For Wan2_pppoe, configure PPPoE of wan2 on USG and set vlan 835 on switch.
