How can I get remote access to my NBG6617 router?

I tried following the manual....no success....what can I do?

    Can you share your steps?
    Where do you want to remote access? For WAN or LAN?
    If you want to do it from LAN, you can just type 192.168.1.1 on your browser.
    If you want to access it from WAN, please check the setting on
    GUI >> Maintenance >> Remote Management >> Remote Access.
