Please can anyone tell me the steps to follow to change the log in username and password for a router VMG3925-B10C.
The Post Office have no idea beyond saying when it is first booted there is sometimes an option to change it :-(

@whizzo,
You can check the User Guide of VMG3925-B10C.
Chapter 34.2.1 shows you how to modify the account password.

Thank you. When I add a User Name & password in the "User Account Add" will this be what I then have to use to log in to the router and will the current factory default log in be overwritten by this?

@whizzo,When you add a new account, the default admin account and password won't be overwritten unless you modify the password of default admin account.If you modify the password for the default admin, you have to use the new password to log in the WebGUI. If you modify the password of default admin account and then reset the device, the password will become the default password.0
