Is it possible to set up a 6to4 tunnel on the VMG3925 with the latest firmware? If so how?

  @skoob Unfortunately not 6RD is a different beast. I had a quick skim of that manual before asking but it looks like it's not possible.

  Now my router is bricked after downgrading the firmware to 3 c0 as 5ghz is unstable with the latest

  @Banger,
  It is suggested to contact local support for help if your device is bricked after firmware upgrade.

  Looking at the manual 6RD allows the VMG3925 to tunnel LAN packets addressed with IPv6 addresses through an ISP WAN that only works with IPv4 addressing and routing into to get to the IPv6 Internet or to the IPv4 Internet.

  You might also need to investigate Microsoft Teredo Tunneling see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teredo_tunneling which allows IPv6 packets to be tunnlled through an IPv4 network and works through NAT see also https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-xp/bb457011(v=technet.10)?redirectedfrom=MSDN 

  
  

  But it depends what you are trying to do.

      - Teredo has an architecture that allows IPv6 to be tunnelled through an IPv4 network but it needs some Teredo clients, servers or relays to be set-up in order to make it work.

            - Microsoft call it a transition technology, to allow the move towards IPv6 working.
