Someone gave me the link to the zyxel-ftp-site.
So i was able to download the 430AAKZ0ITS-WK13-r82765.bin
But after upgrading the standby-FW to this version, the following was shown.
    Is that correct ?

    Regards, Henere

    Hi @Henere, @elkrust

Firmware is corrupted while uploading. i upload it again and check, it is okay now, please try it again.

You should upgrade the firmware to running partition to verify this issue.

I put it into standby config and rebootet with the standby. Now running on your FW.
    Must watch the behaviour.

    Hi@Henere,
It seems you upgrade the firmware and select "No reboot" option.
It will show N/A on this screen shortly, just refresh the web GUI.
You may see the correct firmware version.

    Hi together,
In my experience, this firmware does not even deserve the status "beta", as there are only problems and side effects since this firmware release. It looks like this firmware was tested in the green field and apparently never on running USGs they had a config started with Firmware 4.0.

In the current state I can strongly advise against installing this release on productive USGs.
ZYXEL should take the announcements and problems seriously and fix the problem with the FW 4.30 ASAP, because a firmware in this quality is not exactly a flagship and do not use only "green fields" for testing ;)

    Regards

    @ChristianG,

Thanks for your comments, we realized there are some issues on V4.30 and we had addressed the issue root cause in this thread. The next patch is on-going, it will be released in May/B. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Hi @ChristianG,
From the console log, something went wrong with the kernel file, it might be come from unexpected firmware upgrade fail.
Can it boot up successfully before you do firmware recovery? if it can boot up successfully.
Please try to upgrade the firmware again from the web GUI.
BTW, the command should be "atkz -f -l 192.168.1.1", not -i

    Hi @Zyxel_Cooldia ,
i checked by console if the recovery is possible and get this message.
Since FW upgrade from 4.25 to 4.30 i have a lot of side effects on my USG.
The swap device was delivered with FW 4.20 and i had to upgreade by GUI to 4.30 WK10 ;)

Perhapse in the documentation, where are commands are written down, it's better to use the font "courier new" to print commands without any possible miss interpretation of the characters ;)

    Regards

    Hi @Zyxel_Cooldia,
i've bad and good news in my case  :s
the good one, my reboot issue is gone by downgradeing the FW 4.30-WK13 to 4.30-WK10.
after this activity have the reboot several times tested and the device rebooted by GUI and SSH command successful. Now i've permanent a COM-Cable to have a quick access to the console and can checkup the console messages.

Hope the USG is now working like FW 4.25 and there are no new sideeffekts are comeing up in the next time.  ;)

    Regards
    Christian
