Understanding transmit power
Hi,
I recently got an NWA210AX for my appartment and while setting it up I came across these transmit power values that left me a bit confused:
I live in Germany, so I suppose the transmit power is limited to a maximum of 20 dBm and 23 dBm respectively. But why is the displayed power on the 5 GHz band actually much lower than that?
My first guess was that these values don't include the antenna gain, but that would put the transmit power on the 2.4 GHz band above the regulatory limit, wouldn't it? Do channel width and antenna count affect the maximum transmit power? Or is there something wrong with my configuration?
Thanks for your help!
