Configure Terminal Switch GS1900

Hello,


I have a gs1900 in use.
Unfortunately I can't get into the config terminal mode via SSH.
The question now is what am I doing wrong?

GS1900#
  clear       Clear configuration
  copy        Copy from one file to another
  debug       Debug Options
  end         End current mode and change to enable mode
  exit        Exit current mode and down to previous mode
  no          Negate command
  ping        Send ICMP ECHO_REQUEST to network hosts
  show        Show running system information
  traceroute  Trace route to network hosts
GS1900# conf t
Unknown command
GS1900# configure Terminal
Unknown command
GS1900#

    Welcome to Zyxel Community!

    GS1900 series is the Smart Managed Switch with web-based interface to manage advanced functions, so it is normal that it can't enter configure mode.

    Hello Jason,

    I have seen videos where the GS1900-16 were administered via SSH. Hence the question if you can unlock that.

    Hi @3jrgrg,

    User can access GS1900 series via SSH.
    However, it only allows user using some basic commands for troubleshooting like show running-config or ping, etc.
    The advance feature can be configured via WebGUI because it is a Smart(Web) Managed Switch like I mentioned.
