I know you can reboot a managed AP from the USG.  You can also do it through the CLI with CAPWAP.  Is it possible to shutdown an AP from a USG/NXC?  Seems like the only way is for the AP to be in standalone management mode.

    Hi @n4cr2k,

    Thanks  for your sharing,
it's ok to pull the power plug for shut down AP in normal situation.
You may also SSH to this AP and the command line is “shutdown”.
The light on the AP won’t change because there is still power supply,
but the light of port will turn off, and the remote will stop, then the shutdown is finish.

    Hope this information helps.
    Thank you.

    Best Regards,
    Silvia

    Hi @n4cr2k ,

As you said, we can only reboot managed AP from USG,

We would like to know your usage scenario,

    Thank you.

Thanks for the info.  Right now, I'm upgrading from a previous WiFi deployment, so I find myself moving APs to different locations/rooms to adjust coverage as I determine the optimal deployment.  The shutdown command would just provide a little peace of mind for a graceful shutdown before performing maintenance instead of just pulling the power plug.
