Options
I have a gigabit network at home and my ISP gives me 200Mbs download speed but i can only get 100M speed due to the WAN setting on my NBG6615 Router. i have just purchased this as it says it is a GIGABIT router but i can't get my fast speeds. this is on cable and 5g WIFI. i cant find the correct settings to configure this to 1000M what must or can i do?

What is your cable type? Some of the cat5e only support 100M.

    Hello @Milo425_

The user guide for your router is available at https://download.zyxel.com/NBG6615/user_guide/NBG6615_v1.00_ed2.pdf

What version of firmware is your router running also?

If you connect to your router using an Ethernet cable, and then do a speedtest do you get a faster speed?

If yes, then it could be that WiFi is slowing you down. The user guide says that WiFi with a standard 20MHz channel offers speeds upto 150 Mbps whereas a 40 MHz channel uses 2 standard channels and offers speeds upto 300 Mbps. (Table 13 section 6.4)

I hope that this is helpful.

    Kind regards,
        Tony
