    I am repurposing a GS2210-8HP that was take out of service.  I do not have the user name/password.  I want to do a factory reset. 

    I looked in the manual but it seems I need a "factory default configuration file".  I do not have one available.  Where can I get one or is there an easier way to reset the switch.

      Welcome to Zyxel community!

      Before you reset your switch to factory defult, you may need the following:
      1.  A PC with terminal emulation software(Ex: Teraterm).
      2. Console cable.
      3. Factory default configuration(.rom).
      You may go to the link Here to download GS2210-8HP Firmware file(.zip) and there is a default configuration file(.rom) in it.
      Then you may follow the user's guide or FAQ Link to reset your switch to factory default.

      Same problem here. The rom files are not available anymore.
      I own this brick and would be great to have the rom - since, ridiculously, there is no "reset to factory defaults" procedure available, without serial cable rom upload.
      What could we do to get the rom?

      May I know which switch model that you need the ROM file?
      Is it GS2210-8HP or other GS2210 model?

      I have the same problem with my GS2200-24 switch can you please supply the configuration files for this model as I cant find them anywhere.
