Hi
I notice the above FW was recently withdrawn from the downloads area. I cannot find any announcement as to why.
I upgraded my switch to this firmware some time ago. Should I downgrade to 2.6?
Many thanks.

    Hi @darcey,
Thanks for the information. For non POE variants of GS1900, do you recommend continued use of 2.70?
Yes, please be assured to use 2.70 version for non-PoE GS1900.

    Same question here....I have a GS1900-48hp running 2.70(aaho.1).
It would be nice to know why was v2.70 firmware pulled?

    Hi @darcey, @p4_greg,

v2.70P1 is temporarily removed due to a potential PoE stability issue.  The switch will stop providing power to the Powered devices and it can only be recovered by re-enabling all of the PoE ports to regain services.

PS: This patch is still available by request for the customer who has concerns about the reported vulnerability issue in this link.

    Regards,
    Jonas

I noticed the absence of POE on Port 1 of my GS1900-24EP so I switched the powered device to another port.  I had considered putting in a service request.  I will hold off on a firmware downgrade (it appears there are additional fixes in v2.70) and wait for a new version with a fix to the POE issue.
