I have a Zyxel C3000Z. What is the USB port for?

I was told by Centurylink tech the USB port was only for an external WIFI antenna. Does anyone know of such an animal that plugs into this manual-less product?

Hi feral
I found C3000Z user manual on internet.
Not sure if there was any misunderstanding?
It says:USB: You can connect a USB memory stick or a USB hard drive forfile sharing. The Device automatically detects the USB device.Alternatively, use a USB cable(not provided) to connect a USBprinter to this port1 -
I noticed in the latest CenturyLink Firmware CZD005-4.16.011.0 that the USB port is listed under the Ethernet tab - as in the old DSL modems used to connect via USB. Is it a USB A-A cable that is used or a special crossover?Does this device come with a default firmware Zyxel provides or only CenturyLink? If so can you post a link to download it (and the manual if possible)?Thanks,-Rob

Hello @filter4ever
I have found a user guide at https://fccid.io/I88C3000Z/User-Manual/User-Manual-pdf-3416832
It says that the USB port is only for file sharing, or connecting a USB printer.
Kind regards, Tony0
