Hi,
I have a VMG8924-B10A. VDSL2 connected. Due to our network topology I have no option to set the modem to bridge mode.
So I enabled DMZ to 192.168.0.2. It is a router. There are a lot of connected devices. DHCP server and NAT masquaration take part on it.
I am thinking to increase "MAX NAT Session per host" to prevent the bottleneck. But modem interface doesnot allow me to increase up to 15000.
First question, does this limit creates bottleneck. the second is, if yes, how can I increase it?

Hello @good2see
I think that you would have to have a very powerful host running many applications concurrently in order to get to 15000 NAT session per host.
It might be worth you trying a lower value like 128 that you can set, and then see if it causes a problem for you.
- It might be ok at 128 NAT sessions per host, because each host might not be running that many concurrent sessions.
Also, which version of firmware are you running?
- 1.00 (AAKL.21)C0 from 2018 is available at https://www.zyxel.cn/support/download_landing/product/vmg8924_b_series_13.shtml?c=gb&l=en&pid=20131231171642&tab=Firmware&pname=VMG8924-B%20Series
Kind regards,
Tony
