Are technical specifications reduced in new ATP500 datasheet?

Options
Hello,
I was reviewing the new datasheet of ATP500 firewall uploaded on 29-Dec-2022.
https://download.zyxel.com/ATP500/datasheet/ATP500_16.pdf

Few changes observed:

  1. Zywall word is removed from product name.
  2. Subscription-based licensing kicks in. 1-year gold security pack gets included.
  3. SecuReporter Premium is no longer offered with ATP500 firewall.
  4. Max concurrent IPSec VPN Tunnels are reduced to 500 nos from 1000 nos. :s
  5. New datasheet is applicable on devices having firmware ZLD 5.35 and Not ZLD 5.3 as earlier quoted.
  6. GRE Tunnel for Campus AP & SSL inspection report removed from Geo-Enforcerer.
  7. Direct integration with Google Authenticator app for 2FA.
Makes me wonder, why are the IPSec VPN Tunnel reduced? is there going to be another higher hardware than ATP500? Say ATP900 or ATP1100? Any inputs will be appreciated.

Regards
Kinshuk Joshi

The content of the latest datasheet uploaded remain the same.
The key difference is we have rectified the ATP700 Max concurrent IPSec VPN Tunnels to the correct quantity 500.
In the ATP700 user's guide Max concurrent IPSec VPN Tunnels is 500.
As for items 3 SecuReporter, it just rename from SecuReporter Premium to SecuReporter. That's the same feature.
If you need more max concurrent IPSec VPN Tunnels, ATP800 is the model with highest performance, where it's concurrent IPSec VPN Tunnels can goes up to 1000.

    @Zyxel_Cooldia avoiding my possible mistakes.
ATP700 can have 500 "Phase 1/Gateways"? Or can allow only 500 IPsec connection (Site to site + concurrent client-server connections + concurrent L2TP client-Server connections)?

    Hi @mMontana,
    it includes  Gateway-to-Gateway and Client-to-Gateway.
(Total at MONITOR > VPN Monitor > IPSec )

    Sorry for late response.
    So.
If I have 350 Site-to-site active tunnels, i cannot have more than 150 IPSEC and L2TP client-to-Zyxel connections?
