Hi Zyxel Support Team,

Good Day!

Aside from the captive portal re-authentication after set time.
Is it possible to also set the SSID required for the WPA key at the same time of captive portal re-authentication?

Thank you and stay safe,
regards,
Bien Anthony Montiel

Once the authentication is expired, the user should input again username and password on captive portal re-authentication page but no need to input WPA key again.

May you share more detail of scenario about your request?

    Hi @ BMontiel

As @Zyxel_Nami previously mentioned, the AP's client does not need to re-enter the WPA key as the device will remember the key. This is the behavior of the end device. Therefore, your request may not be possible to fulfill.

  • Hi Nami,

    Good day!
Thank you for taking time on answering my inquiry.

    With regards to the scenario.
After a certain SSID client captive portal re-authentication timer expired. Clients' WiFi connection must automatically disconnect to the SSID and re-connect by inputting the SSID WEP key/passphrase.

    regards,
    Bien
