STP topology changes
Guys, good morning!
We have a switch Zyxel GS2220-50HP model, and the ports are in the "spannning-tree edge-port" configuration.
When the port with this same configuration change (turn off), the switch send STP topology changes to the others switches. And this do to the network go down.
Can you help me?
Regards!

Hi @giruffato,
Is your GS2220-50HP in standalone mode or Nebula mode?
Could you share your topology and which ports did you enable "spanning-tree" & "spannning-tree edge-port"?

Hi @giruffato,This is because that port is a non-edge port. The port with edge port setting will change to non-edge port status when it connects with a device that sends BPDU.In addition, if your topology is bus topology and won't become a ring topology, you might consider disabling STP and enabling Loop Guard for preventing loops.0
