GS1100-24 slow speed for devices with speed 2.5Gbps

Hello, I want to ask why the switch switches to 100Mbps and not to 1Gbps after connecting a device with a speed of 2.5Gbps?

    Maybe you have bad cables?

    Update the NIC driver?

    Cables and NIC driver are fine. When I switch the Qnap NAS directly to the router, it goes 1Gbps. Only 100Mbps via switch.

    One or the other is not doing link negotiation right either something like:

    switch see 2.5Gb and run at 100Mb

    device see it can't run at 2.5Gb so runs at 100Mb

    as the Zyxel switch is Unmanaged with no way to update it you should ask for support by Qnap and see if you can fix the link speed to 1Gb.

    or it might be the case Zyxel have to do another version that you have to get a replacement.

    May I know what model is your Qnap NAS and its NIC? Also need the serial number of your GS1100.
