Unmanaged Switch MG105 - ping ok, internet ko

Hi

my switch mg-105 suddenly won't let me browse the internet. I can ping the router or other devices, but internet is down. If i connect the pc directly to router, internet works.

Suggestion?

    Hi @Zotme,

    Could you help to verify the below question when the client connects to the MG105?

    1. Could you help to collect ipconfig /all (Window) information for me to check if the client gets the IP address/default gateway/DNS server settings?
    2. Can the client resolve the domain? Please use nslookup to check.
    3. What's your OS version / Nic model / Nic driver version?

    Intel(R) Ethernet Controller I225-V
    Intel - 05/03/2022 - 1.1.3.28

    Same ipconfig /all with both switchs.

    Hi @Zotme,

    Thanks for providing your device information. But since you mention one MG-105 works and another does not, the problem is more likely on the MG-105. Could you provide the serial number of the two MG-105 for me to check the difference?

    Thanks for the information. By the way, could you also help nslookup d.nebula.zyxel.com and tracert 8.8.8.8 between the two switches? I would like to confirm your internet has no problem.

    unplug the switch that works and test the switch that does not to see if it works also unplug replug Ethernet to the switch to trigger DHCP

    You can ping 8.8.8.8 and DNS 192.168.50.1 through the switch and it being Unmanaged there is no traffic it can block.
