ZYXEL USG FLEX 100W and Adding AP

Is anyone using an extender with AP Mode on the ZYXEL USG FLEX 100W?

Suggestions of an inexpensive extender with AP Mode? This is just to connect one Cam.

    If all your looking to do is extend the flex100W wifi with a repeater this should do.

    Using a ZYXEL USG FLEX 100W and the wireless if for my Cams. 1 cam has very low signal and has issues when viewing remotely.

    I do have CAT5 but that's used for other devices…..

    I just want to add an inexpensive AP so I don't have issues logging in if moved when using an extender. Currently I'm using a Netgear EX3700 and when I view the Cam the traffic is too much for the repeater and pings slow and the slow speed is evident when viewing etc.

    Yes, you could use USG Flex 100W as AP mode role to see whether it's working for you.

    I currently am running a mesh but that's on a different network. It's comprised of a RT-AX82U and 2 other routers in AP Mode.

    With the Zyxel USG FLEX 100W, can I just use any Zyxel AP Mode extender or router?

    Is there a compatibility list for the USG FLEX 100W?

    Thanks just want to get the best bang for my buck!

    Will this work with the USG FLEX 100W in Mesh Mode?

    Also to use Mesh Mode, the connectivity I know would be better with Cat5 direct connection but this will still work in Mesh Mode if connected via wifi, correct??

    Also, in the interface I don't see anything about Zymesh….

    Does it have to be inabled?

    Under Config/Object there is no Zymesh Profile….

    Sorry if I'm asking a lot of dumb questions 🙃
