GS1900-24HP Firmware V1.00(AAHM.1) to latest?

Hi,

Just purchased an old, now EOL GS1900-24HP.

I've reset it and managed to get into the device.

It currently is running firmware V1.00(AAHM.1) and I see that latest firmware is 2.70 (AAHM.3).C0.

Can I upgrade directly from my current version to the latest or do I have to install other versions first (if so which and what are the links).

Does my serial number change anything in the way or what I have to do.

    Please select HTTP and the backup image. When you select HTTP, you will find the browse file button is clickable. Then click choose file to select the runtime file (.bix) to upgrade.

    After finishing upgrade, the switch will ask you if you want to use the new firmware as the active firmware, and if you want to reboot the switch. Please click yes for both question, and your switch will run in the latest firmware

    Any help would be appreciated along with how I actually can upload the firmware to the switch, my options are either tftp or http, so I'm confused as I've downloaded the file locally

    Hi @Aty,

    You can upgrade from V1.00(AAHM.1) to 2.70 (AAHM.3).C0, but since the password encryption mechanism was changed in one of the firmware versions. You will need to factory default the switch otherwise you could not log in even with the default password.

    In addition, if you have set up any configuration, please remember to back up your configuration before upgrading firmware.

    How to I upgrade the firmware?

    I have gone to the maintenance screen and my options are

    Method either TPTP or HTTP

    Server IP

    File Name

    Iimage either Active or Backup

    Browse file either Choose File

    What do I put where

    Thank you for your confirmation.
    I have now gone to the configuration page and I'm presented with the following options and I don't know what to enter.
    Since I'm on version 1 firmware it doesn't look like i can just upload the file in the interface to the switch to upgrade.
    I've attached an image showing my options, which are

    Method ... TFTP or HTTP
    Server IP
    File Name
    Image ....Active or Backup
    Browse File

    Please could you tell me which options, ip address etc to enter.
