SOLVED. - USG40W login security problem.
Hi,
I am new to this advanced firewall and this community, please be pacient with me, and sorry for my English as I am from Denmark.
I need to login to my USG40W, but I meet this problem at any browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome). Please see pictures.
I know it's a security problem, but how do I gain access, and can I gain access without the resource ?!
The pic says the ip is correct, but the "resource is not found" ?!
I am not familiar with ssh/telnet login, so please help me another graphical way.
Thanks in advance :-)
Kind regards
Thaiger

Hi @Thaiger
In your picture, You has already login console mode by SSH method.
The reason for the Parse error, because you type https in your comman(ip https secure-server)
You shuld type http
The corrrect command is ip http secure-server

Hi @Thaiger
Perhaps the HTTPS service was disabled (Configuration -> System -> WWW -> Service Control). You can enter into Console Mode, and enter following Commands to enable HTTP Service
1. configure terminal
2. ip http secure-server
3. write
4. exit

1) I don't get the login pic as in in the video.2) As my PC's don't have any serial port I can't use the serial access via Tera Term.So I probably need telnet/ssh/? via tcp/ip ?!3) I have installed putty4) I type; (I don't type "-enter" it's info for you)admin -enter1234 -enterEtc pls see pic, as I get command not found !
@Zyxel_Chris_H
@Alfonso
I look forward to your further help, please
By the way, i dont need any settings that may be setup/stored on it.
So if a factory reset is easy (and will solve the problem), then please tell me if its enougt just to reset via the reset button on the back ?
Or if factory reset demands a specifik combination !
Thanks :-)0 -

@Zyxel_Chris_H
Super thanks, finally I am in :-)
I typed:
configure terminal
no ip http secure-server
write
no ip http secure-server force-redirect
write
exit
Some of these commands may be right, some wrong, but I came inside (had to use Internet Explorer)
I am realy happy for your @Zyxel_Chris_H and @Alfonso help.
Marry Christmas and Happy New Year
:-)
