Optimizing Wi-Fi Performance with Zyxel Access Points
Hey everyone,
I recently installed a Zyxel access point to improve the Wi-Fi coverage in my home or office, and I'm looking for tips on how to optimize its performance. While the coverage has improved, I want to ensure that I'm getting the best possible speed and reliability from my wireless network.
Does anyone have any suggestions for optimizing Wi-Fi performance with Zyxel access points? I'm interested in things like channel selection, signal strength optimization, and any other tweaks that can help maximize throughput and minimize interference.
Thanks for any advice you can provide!

Thanks a LOT for the info. Can you do the same when using Nebula.
Why should I reduce the channel width 5 GHz from 80 to 40 ?

Hi @saltet
Regarding the wireless optimization guidance for APs managed in Nebula cloud mode, you may refer to this article:
While a higher channel width could offer greater bandwidth, wider channels are more susceptible to interference. Therefore, sometimes we recommend users lower the channel width if there is significant interference in their environment.
