1: Putting this under "Status" feels wrong. These are settings.

2: I can see the proper hostnames when they get an IP via DHCP.
then I have to make a new entry, copy over the MAC, enter an IP – but no name!
After that the reservation works when I renew my DHCP lease – but it only shows up with a generic name instead of the hostname, or a custom name.

3: Reservation doesn't seem to immediately force a renew on the client. Shouldn't it do that?

Looking at the Log, it tries to resolve a name, but obviously fails…

DHCP Requested 192.168.1.9 from (null)(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) DHCP Request

Other clients (that have not been assigned a reserved IP) show with their hostname.

DHCP table is located below Network Status, and we implemented IP reserve feature on this page which is more convenient for configuring IP reservations. However, thanks for your feedback, I will forward this feedback to internal.

Regarding hostname issue, could you check again on V1.20? I cannot see the symptom.

It works well now. I can set a custom hostname for the reservation, I can see the correct hostname for DHCP reserved devices and I can add a description to each entry. Cool.

The description doesn't allow for Umlauts like äöü – Something you guys might wanna work on at some point. Unicode is a thing now…
