Hello Zyxel Team,

I am considering to purchase XGS1210-12 V2 and looking also for a compatible SFP10G-T Module. For example MikroTik S+RJ10.

But in one older discussion a user report that XGS1210-12 is not compatible with XGS1210-12. I am wondering if this has been improved in V2 version?

Alternatively, a list of compatible SFP10G-T module would be apperciated.

Here a non-china manufacturer is preferred.

Thank you.

    Hi there,

In case you still want to use the SFP10G-T, please refer to Zyxel SFP10G-T.

Please note that SFP10G-T modules tend to generate more heat. Ensure you have a suitable method to maintain your switch at a normal temperature for proper operation.

    Hi @Tactice ,

SFP10G-T modules tend to generate more heat due to high power consumption, and the XGS1210-12 V2 has a fanless design. Therefore, we do not recommend using the SFP10G-T with the XGS1210-12 V2.

For SFP10G usage, please refer to the recommendations below.

Detailed information can be found in the datasheet.

    Hello Judy,

    thank you for the answer.
My target connection is a NAS with SFP10G-T interface. There it is no possible to use glas fiber or other interface. But the usage of the switch is in a low load and cooler inviroment.
Which is the right SFP10G-T to use on with the XGS1210-12 V2?
    Greetings

    Toni

Using cooling fins is one method I used to cool down the switch. It may be helpful for you guys.
