How many times do I have to CLEARLY state NOT to change the logformat, or AT LEAST include it in the flippin' changelog?

You changed your logformat AGAIN!!!!

You removed the year from the date:

before: Jul 18 22:00:02 2024 NWA90AX

after: Jul 18 22:00:02 NWA90AX

and you added an unintentional space between source ip and port:

before: src="0.0.0.0:0" dst="0.0.0.0:0"

after: src="0.0.0.0: 0" dst="0.0.0.0:0"

    Hi @DevSport

We have previously addressed the syslog format issue based on user feedback and made adjustments in the latest firmware release. You can find more details in the bug fix section of the release note:

    Regarding your concerns,

You removed the year from the date:

    before: Jul 18 22:00:02 2024 NWA90AX

    after: Jul 18 22:00:02 NWA90AX

According to RFC specifications, the log format should not include the year. This change was implemented to align with these standards.

and you added an unintentional space between source ip and port:

    before: src="0.0.0.0:0" dst="0.0.0.0:0"

    after: src="0.0.0.0: 0" dst="0.0.0.0:0"

We could not replicate the issue with the space between the IP and port on our end. This might be a display behavior of your syslog server. Could you please capture the syslog packet via Wireshark from your end to verify if the space is present? Below is a sample capture from our NWA90AX (V7.00(ACCV.1)C0) that does not show this issue.
