Unable to automatically reconnect to the 6GHz SSID

For anybody else having similar issues, I was able to fix this by changing 6GHz channel selection from auto to manual and then trying different channels and then turning off wifi and then turning it back on until I found channels that seemed to work better with my phone and other devices.

EDIT: I thought it was working, but same effect. Initially connects to 6GHz, but then after leaving and coming back it never reconnects.
