Mode electricity consumption

Hello everyone,

I have a Zyxel GS2210-24HP switch, I would like to know if there is an economy mode to consume less electricity. For example, the RJ45 ports go into standby mode if they are not being used, etc.

    Hi @GB_Informatics ,

    The GS2210-24HP switch features Green Ethernet functionality, which includes Energy Efficient Ethernet, Auto Power Down, and Short-Reach. These features help reduce power consumption on switch ports.

    To save power when no devices are connected to specific ports (i.e., when ports are not being used), you can use the Auto Power Down feature. Here's how to enable it:

    1. Navigate to Advanced Application > Green Ethernet
    2. Enable the Auto Power Down feature
    3. Select the specific ports you want to apply this feature to
