The problem however occurs on the local Mac PC, basically when the user tries to launch the Secure Extender application it tells him that it is not compatible with MacOS 15 (Sequoia)

We have a MacOS Sequoia client with SecuExtender v3.2.4.19 installed, but the tunnel can no longer be opened, and the 'Open Tunnel' function is greyed out. Another MacOS client with the same SecuExtender version but running iOS 14.6.1 does not have this issue.
What needs to be done for the MacOS client to establish the connection without using another VPN client? The VPN configuration itself does not need to be adjusted, as it is correct.
We are using an ATP500 with v5.38.

Yup…You're right. They have new "Nebula" subscription-based clients for both Windows and Mac.

Since the VPN100 is also EOL, you could consider using L2TP as an alternative solution. Additionally, you may upgrade the VPN100 to the USG Flex H models, which support the SecuExtender Zero Trust IPSec/SSL VPN Client. Thanks.

Despite the EOL of the SSL VPN SecuExtender Client Software for all clients, Will the IPSec SecuExtender still be supported? Or is it recommended to forget all SecuExtender client software and move to build-in VPN clients of the different OS?

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your reply. I've already read the linked Zyxel article. Unfortunately, beside a short list of advantages of IPSec in opposition to SSLVPN, this article do not mention IPSec SecuExtender as alternative client for Windows PCs.
Further it's not clearly described under which circumstances the new SecuExtender ZeroTrust IPSec/SSLVPN can be used. Do we need a USG Flex H firewall, or does it work with USG Flex as well?
And finally ir would also be helpful, if Zyxel would not obviously prefering to recommend the Nebula Mode. Our USG Flex 700 is running in on-premise mode and we do not intend to change it. But now we have to familiarize ourselves with IKEv2 etc. in order to implement IPSec VPN. Does Zyxel have also How-to articles and video for different opportunities to implement IPSec from scrach.
