So is this a new interface or are you modifying a interface? you must be missing some thing.

what if you disable DHCP server?

If you change LAN interface IP/subnet, you also have to change DHCP pool (start IP and pool size) so that pool addresses are within LAN subnet.

I don't think anyone here has any actual experience changing the IP of this router. I don't think it can be done. Thank you for your reply but if you do thithe FLEX automatically fills in all the requisite fields for you correctly so not a problem.

Nearest I can tell, I think it might be because the LAN1 interface is in use so it won't allow you to change it while it's running. So I tried to change the LAN2 IP address the exact same way, and that was not grayed out. It did allow me to press the apply button.

However, after doing so it gave me an error (50001) saying that the config could not be updated and to reboot the router. I did and it took forever to reboot. After rebooting it was all default as a brand new router. All the config changes had been lost. Hours of work lost. Real nice piece of equipment here. I think it might be going back. Tons of settings … but you can't change them.
