How to block a bot on our USG-50 using Security Policy.

    Is that a Flex 50? A USG 50 is a first gen router that was end of life years ago.

    Can you give more details? Is the bot attack on the wan interface?

    Understood, small budget on this end for our nonprofit. USG-50 not flex. I followed a couple examples of blocking websites but that has not blocked the bot activity. We get pounded by amazonbot. I have a server firewall, software, that stops access once inside the external appliance. I want to stop it at the wan level.

    I set up an Object Rule similar to GEO and a sister Security Policy so just need to tweak it.

    Hi @TedB,

    The better way is to add some files to your server. Setting a security policy to block bot access might be a huge work.
