hello

I have the following problem.
When I activate the WiFi in the WebGui, the Zyxel SSID is displayed but I cannot connect to the modem for the initial setup using the Zyxel Air app. It works using 192.168.1.1. I just changed the existing password. The firmware is the most recent from the homepage. The modem's SSID is also displayed in the WiFi settings on the phone but I cannot connect.
Can someone maybe help with this?

    Could you provide more details about the issue? Specifically:

    • Are you able to connect to the Zyxel SSID but cannot access the internet?
    • Or is the connection to the SSID failing altogether, even with the correct password?

    Additionally, when you connect the FWA710 via its Ethernet port and access the default IP address (192.168.1.1), are you able to access the web configurator successfully?

    Yes, exactly, that's the problem! I can't connect to the SSID of the WLAN with the correct password. I can access the webgui via LAN on 192.168.1.1.

    To resolve the issue, please try the following steps:

    1. Forget the SSID: On your device, forget the Zyxel SSID from the WiFi settings and then reconnect by scanning the QR code available in the web configurator.
    2. Reset the device: If the issue persists after trying the above, reset the FWA710 to its default settings and allow the SSID to broadcast again for the initial setup.

    Please note that we recommend using an Ethernet LAN connection for configuration, as the SSID stops broadcasting 30 minutes after enabling the WiFi setting for security purposes.

    I have now tried to connect to the router using a QR code, but unfortunately without success. The SSID and password are the same as on the back. I don't want to reset the router to factory settings because otherwise everything works and I then have to spend some time getting everything working. So I'll live with it. Maybe I'll have to reset it for another reason in the future.
