Hello, I have a NWA50AX PRO and I am a beginner.

Very quick question please: is it possible to program wifi on and off time slots? I haven't seen anything like that in the standalone interface (I don't use the Nebula interface).

Thank you very much for your help.

JC

    Hi @JCG ,

Thank you for your feedback. The screen indicates that the SSID (WiFi name) will be broadcast on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. We will consider about improving the UI to make it easier for users to understand.

should I leave this setting so that ECHO DES FLOTS uses both frequencies, or should I change something please?

To meet your requirements, please keep this setting enabled so that ECHO DES FLOTS can use both frequencies.

    HI @JCG ,

To set up a WiFi Schedule:

    • Go to Configuration > Wireless > AP Management
    • Select the SSID you want to schedule
    • Enable "Schedule SSID"
    • Configure your schedule settings and click OK button

    hello, thank you very much!

just one more question please: after choosing the times, it seems to me that the 2.4 and 5 ghz frequencies were both checked automatically (i think it wasn't the case before). Should i check only 2.4 ghz at the top and only 5 ghz at the bottom? (it is the same SSID).

    Hi @JCG ,

It depends on your preference. For example, if you want the SSID named "ECHO DES FLOTS" to be broadcast on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, check both options.

Note that both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies are checked automatically as the default setting in the SSID profile.

By the way, could you tell us about anything that confuses you on this screen?

thank you very much @Zyxel_Judy !

yes, I want to use both 2.4 and 5 ghz frequencies for my ECHO DES FLOTS ssid.

What I find strange is that there is a section at the top of the screen for the 2.4 ghz frequency where both frequencies are checked, and another section at the bottom of the screen reserved for the 5 ghz frequency where both frequencies are also selected.

should I leave this setting so that ECHO DES FLOTS uses both frequencies, or should I change something please?
