HI,
I need to replace an ATP200 with another ATP200. How to keep the same configuration? Is it possible to download startup.config.conf and load it onto the new one without reprogramming all the functions?

THX

Carlo

    I think that someone from Zyxel support can clarify this.

    This is exactly what I would be interested in. We are replacing a USG FLEX 200 with a new USG FLEX 200 and can I transfer a still active iCard license from the old USG FLEX 200 to the new one?

    I'm not sure how the admin or any of the user names are encrypted would work you might have to set the password on new ATP200 and copy that line in config to the backed-up config to use on new APT200

    Thx,

    What if I activate the new one with the same admin passwords and then restore the startup.config.conf file of the old ATP200?

    I recover all the rules?

    @PeterUK

    You are probably right, I looked at the config file in an editor and saw that the passwords are all encrypted. There is certainly a problem with this as it is no longer the same hardware.

    Yes, you can use the startup-config file from the old router to the new one and your firewall rules and credentials will come across.
