VMG4927 - setting to bridge mode

Hi,

I have a VMG4927 that was provided by my cable company (TDS).

I'd like to set it to Bridge Mode so that I can use a separate router.

Can anyone provide concise instructions for setting the VMG4927 to bridge mode?

    Hello!

    To set your VMG4927 to Bridge Mode, first, access the router settings by entering http://192.168.1.1 in your web browser's address bar and logging in with your router's username and password. Navigate to Network Setting > Broadband, find your connection (such as VDSL or ETHWAN), and click the Modify icon. Select Bridge as the encapsulation iTero mode, and then click Apply to save the settings. This will allow your separate router to handle the network traffic while the VMG4927 acts as a modem.
