NWA130BE continuously rebooting

HI everybody,
I'm trying to install a NWA130BE in our network and encountering issues with the configuration.
The AP is continuously resetting, showing a LED cycle such as: ~120s of green/yellow blink, followed by ~30s of solid green light. The device is connected with an external power supply and with a cable from uplink port directly to our modem.
- I tried to add it to Nebula, but is not showing up online
- I tried to connect via WiFi, but I see the Zyxel-xxxx network only for few seconds every cycle and not able to connect
- I tried to connect via wired ethernet (on both ports) to 192.168.1.2, but it's refusing the connection.

I would like to configure it locally without Nebula.
Any suggestion on what can be the cause?
kind regards

    Hi @pr65,

To configure NWA130BE locally, you can connect to 192.168.1.2 and then enter the admin and 1234 as this is the default user name and password.

If you can't access the web page, you can check on the forum post to reset it.

Feel free to have any feedback from you.

    Thanks.

    Ivan

    Dear Ivan,
As I wrote in the OP, I already tried to connect to 192.168.1.2, but I don't get any web page.
Just to be sure, I tried again. This is what I tried:

    - I connected my PC NIC directly to the uplink port (tried also the other port, just in case)
    - PC set to static IP 192.168.1.11/24
    - I turned on the device
    - the device enters the yellow/green blink cycle as described above.
    - I cannot connect to the web interface (firefox on linux mint)
    - I cannot ping the device
    - I tried to reset to factory default by pressing 10s the button when device is on, nothing changed.
    - I tried to reset by pressing the reset button, turning on, waiting 10s. Nothing changed.

    Any other advice?

    Hi @pr65,

The IP could be changed since the device was managed by Nebula.

I suggest you use ZON to check the correct for the WebGUI, click here for the steps.

Feel free to share any feedback from you.

    Thanks.

    Dear Ivan,
I was never able to manage with Nebula. I entered the SN and MAC but the device never showed as online.
I then removed the device from Nebula.

I just tried to use ZON, but no way. I cannot see the AP listed.
    - I connected the AP to the same router I'm connected with my PC. Not working.
    - I connected the AP to the PC directly. Not working.
After the scan, there are no devices listed.

I still see that the device LED is green for 18s and then blinking yellow/green for 32s. Then repeat.

    Any other advice?

Registered here to say that I have the same problem: it reboots regardless of the hard reset (it actually even doesn't show that it was reset, indicators are just blinking like nothing happening), doesn't appear at the DHCP list on Magenta's router, WiFi not even for a moment pops up. I've spent around one hour on the attempts to bring it alive and in the end decided that a 180eur AP doesn't worth it, so it goes right back to the box which it came from and going to be returned back to Amazon.

    Hi @pr65,

To better check your issue in the current status, could you help to record a video for the LED status so we check?

Also, attach the LED behavior list here.

    Hi @ctepeo,

    May I know:

    1. How did you power up your NWA130BE?
    2. If is by power adaptor, please check if its output power is 12V/2A.
    3. If is by PoE, please check if your PoE switch was over the power budget, or set the PoE schedule.

    Dear Melen,
attached is a video of the behaviour that we observe.

    For your questions:
    1. we power the NWA130BE with an external power supply.
    2. Yes, the power supply is 12V/2A. Just in case we also tested the AP with two other power supplies, one was a 12V/5A, the other was another 12V/2A taken from another installation with the same AP working.
    3. Not using PoE.

    Hi @pr65,

Thanks for the video. I notice the AP reboot again at about 0:43.

Please follow the below guide to submit an RMA request. Also, may I know the serial number of this device?
