Register new unmanaged switches in portal.myzyxel.com

Hello everyone,

I tried to register also some unmanaged Zyxel switches on portal.myzyxel.com but there I see that it is requested to have both serial number and MAC address.

So is it impossible to register on portal.myzyxel.com all the unmanaged switches?

    Being that they are unmanaged there is no firmware to download and does not get a IP from the network

    Hi @GiuseppeR,

    If you're worried about the warranty, our RMA system will check your serial number for the warranty status. You don't need to register the device to have a warranty. "portal.myzyxel.com" is to assign licenses for on-premise/standalone devices, not for warranty service.

    Hi @Zyxel_Melen

    I was looking for a portal where to register all the serials related to products I installed for different clients, like I can do with Nebula/on-prem devices.
