IPSec sessions on the firewall not terminated after a while of being idle?

A "stale VPN connection" cannot be hijacked because, from the firewall's perspective, the session remains active. This session consists of an encrypted IPsec tunnel between the firewall and the VPN client, which is inherently protected against hijacking.

Assuming the clients don't block ping the Zywall as a feature for every VPN IP client can do a ping to them and no reply happens for a given client the Zywall disconnects that client.
