Hi, I have network with 3 Zyxel devices:

NAP102 in garage
NWA50AX in living room
NWA55AXE in other end of the main building

All works fine except wifi speed is too low. With Wire I can measure over 200Mbs speed, but with wifi only 30Mbs. I have tried all different ways to solve this, but cant find a solution.

I also have tried to leave only one wifi access points on and measure 10cm away from only device and same result. Where I shout start to find reason for low speeds?

    Hi @JanneN,

May I clarify with you some details about your issue?

    1. Does this issue occur on many Wi-Fi clients? Or only one Wi-Fi client has this issue?
    2. What device did you use to test? Do you know about its Wi-Fi standard?
    3. What's your network topology?
    4. Have you tried other speedtest websites?

    Thanks.

    Hi, Thanks for reply.

    1. All Wifi clients. No matter where location is. Problem is same with all clients.
    2. I have tested iPhones, iPads, iMac and Macbook pro M4 16GB RAM. I Think these new devices supports quite many different standards. I don't know am I connected to 2,4 or 5 ghz network, both are on in wifi network.
    3. I have modem then gigabit ethernet to router and gigabit ethernet to poe-switches and there to wifi access points. All are new gigabit devices and new wires.
    4. Now I tested and this highspeedinternet test gives 20Mbs better result than Ookla, but still wire connection with same macbookpro gives 2x better result in same test.

Are any of the AP in Repeater mode?

Remove all SSID on the 2.4G and then test

    Hi @JanneN,

Could you help to collect the diagnostic info before you start test the speedtest and after finish it?

This could help us to check your configuration and the Wi-Fi client's connection status.

You may follow this FAQ to learn how to collect the diagnositc info file. And please send them to me via my private message.

After that, you may also try disable 2.4G radio from your SSID to connect 5G Wi-Fi and test.
